Kennedy began his career as a professional photographer in sports: shooting pictures of football and soccer games for newspapers and then advancing to the more complicated techniques of surf photography.
In 1999, Kennedy became interested in fashion photography. In 2000 Kennedy's portraits were exhibited in Boston. By 2003, Kennedy had established himself as a noted photographer, shooting for modeling agencies, advertising clients and various publications. He has printed post cards, a calendar and modeling composite cards of his work. In addition, in 2003 Kennedy wrote a book on homeless youth with 100 pictures of his subjects.
David Kennedy is the official photographer of DPK Development shooting all of DPK talent's promotional and creative material often in conjunction with other accomplished artists/photographers. The main goal of the Photography Division is to produce quality pictures at low, below market prices.
